Westlake, Louisiana - The Westlake Police Department received a report of an armed robbery at a nearby hotel on November 22, 2023. Upon reaching the scene, officers spoke to the victim, who reported being robbed at gunpoint by four individuals.

With the help of the Sulphur Police Department, three out of the four suspects were apprehended and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on December 4, 2023.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office helped arrest and book the last suspect into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on December 9, 2023.

Moree Kristine Carsten of Sulphur, Louisiana, is charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a firearm, felony theft over $1,000.00, and prostitution.

Deandre Joseph Beck from Lake Charles, Louisiana, faces charges of armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a firearm, felony theft over $1,000.00, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Alexis Mercedes Moak, residing in Dequincy, Louisiana, is accused of armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a firearm, and felony theft over $1,000.

Kane Montreal Tezeno, of Dequincy, Louisiana, is facing charges of armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a firearm, and felony theft over $1,000.00.

Westlake Police indicate that the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be made.
