Lake Charles, Louisiana – Get ready for a weekend of non-stop entertainment as the Marshland Festival takes over the Lake Charles Event Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 26th and 27th. This event, which originated over 30 years ago in Hackberry, Louisiana has grown to become a staple of Southwest Louisiana, showcasing local artists alongside national talents.
The indoor and air-conditioned event center will provide a comfortable escape from the summer heat, allowing attendees to focus on the fantastic lineup of music, food, and arts and crafts shopping. The festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, with something for everyone to enjoy.
On Friday, July 26th the entertainment lineup is packed with talented performers, including Brooks Drost, Running on Credit, Greg Blanchard, Rusty Metoyer and The Zydeco Krush, and Rouge Krewe.
Saturday, July 27th will feature Colby Latiolais, Leroy Thomas and The Zydeco Roadrunners, Louisiana Express with Johnnie Allen, Geno Delafose and French Rockin’ Boogie, Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition, Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns, Steel Shot, and Waters Edge.
In addition to the music, the festival will also feature a variety of food vendors and arts and crafts shopping. Attendees can browse local wares, sample delicious cuisine, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
The Marshland Festival will take place on Friday, July 26th from 6 p.m. to midnight, and on Saturday, July 27th from 11 a.m. to midnight. Tickets are priced at $15 per person on Friday and $20 per person on Saturday.
