Accidental Death Reported at Phillips 66 in Westlake
Westlake, LA – According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, on April 27, 2022, around 11:30 a.m., CPSO was dispatched to Phillips 66 in Westlake in reference to an accidental death. According to the preliminary investigation, a contract worker was killed while unloading equipment. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
There is no additional information to be released at this time. The victim’s name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, no foul play is suspected, and the death appears to be accidental.
