Arnaudville, Louisiana - Louisiana State Police Troop I is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 49-year-old Arnaudville woman early Monday morning on Louisiana Highway 93.

Michelle Romero, of Arnaudville, Louisiana, died from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. on October 13, 2025, near Saputil Lane.

According to the preliminary investigation, Romero was driving a Nissan Rogue northbound on LA Hwy 93 when the vehicle left the roadway on the right side. The Nissan entered a drainage ditch, struck an embankment, and overturned.
