Lake Charles, Louisiana – Lake Charles will host its popular Art in the Park event on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Buddy Prejean Park, located at 1601 Illinois Street.

The free community event, organized by the City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative, offers families an opportunity to participate in fall-themed creative activities. The program provides all necessary art supplies, including canvases, easels and professional instructors to guide participants through various projects.

Activities scheduled for the two-hour event include canvas painting and fall-themed arts and crafts suitable for all age groups. The Partners in Parks Initiative designed the event to encourage community engagement while providing accessible creative outlets for residents.
