Louisiana State Police Troop F, in coordination with the Criminal Investigations Division Monroe Field Office, partnered with the Lincoln Parish and Union Parish Sheriff’s Offices to conduct Operation Safe Streets, an initiative focused on public safety through targeted enforcement activities. The operation, designed to address violent crime, drug trafficking, and illegal firearm possession, resulted in 15 criminal arrests and multiple seizures over the course of its enforcement period.
Law enforcement officers conducted 119 traffic stops and assisted the public 74 times throughout the operation. These efforts led to the issuance of 97 warnings and 41 traffic charges. In addition to traffic-related actions, officers executed one search warrant and made nine arrests tied to fugitive warrants. The operation also resulted in one DWI arrest and one firearms charge, with a firearm confiscated at the scene.
Drug enforcement was a key focus. Officers seized approximately 15.7 grams of methamphetamine and 58.4 grams of marijuana during the operation.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
