East Ward Line Road (LA 397) will be closed 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing (MP 13.573), located on East Ward Line Road (LA 397) between East Prien Lake Road and East McNeese Street
The closure is necessary for Union Pacific (UP) Railroad to perform crossing repairs.
Motorist will be detoured via US 90 (Fruge St), LA 14 East (Gerstner Memorial Blvd) and LA 397/LA 14 (Gerstner Memorial Blvd). Due to the imposed traffic delays, drivers are encouraged to pursue alternate routes.
