Vinton, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced that the left lane on I-10 Eastbound and Westbound will be closed in Vinton, Louisiana to facilitate the installation of temporary concrete barriers.
According to the DOTD, the closures will occur on the following dates and times:
- I-10 Eastbound (EB): 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024
- I-10 Westbound (WB): 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, until 6 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024
The closures will affect a stretch of I-10 between Exit 7 (Mile Marker 7.5) and Exit 8 (Mile Marker 9) in Vinton. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect delays during the closure periods.
