Light Up the Lake Returns to Lake Charles this November

Lake Charles, Louisiana - Residents of Lake Charles, Louisiana, are gearing up for the return of the popular holiday event, Light Up the Lake, which will take place on Saturday, November 30th. The festivities will kick off at noon at the Lake Charles Event Center, located at 900 Lakeshore Drive.

The event promises to be a fun-filled afternoon and evening, with over 20 holiday market vendors on hand to offer a variety of unique gifts and local goods. A food truck plaza and beverage tent will also be available, providing attendees with a range of culinary options to enjoy throughout the day. Additionally, children will have the opportunity to visit Santa's Workshop.

Live music will begin at 1:30 pm, setting the stage for the main event: the lighting of the lakefront. Mayor Nic Hunter will have the honor of flipping the switch, illuminating the area in a spectacular display of holiday cheer. Following the lighting ceremony, attendees can enjoy the annual boat parade, and a fireworks display that is sure to delight both children and adults.

The event will run from 12 pm to 8 pm, giving attendees plenty of time to enjoy all that Light Up the Lake has to offer. Organizers are encouraging residents to mark their calendars and join in the fun as the community comes together to kick off the holiday season.
