Mangham, Louisiana - A tragic incident occurred on Sunday, November 03, 2024, when a single-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 132 resulted in the death of 44-year-old Jarrod Flores of Winnsboro, Louisiana. Louisiana State Police Troop F began investigating the incident shortly before 4:00 a.m.

According to the initial investigation, Flores was driving a 2017 Toyota 4Runner east on Louisiana Highway 132 when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road. The Toyota then struck a tree and overturned. Flores, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Louisiana State Police indicated that impairment is suspected to be a factor in this crash, and routine toxicology samples were collected from Flores. These samples will be submitted for analysis to determine if impairment played a role in the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the Louisiana State Police.
