Lake Charles Road Closure: LA 384 Southbound Partial Closure Set for Utility Work

Lake Charles, Louisiana - Motorists traveling on LA 384 Southbound in Lake Charles, Louisiana, should be prepared for a partial lane closure due to roadwork starting on Monday, November 4. The closure, which is scheduled to last until Friday, November 22, is necessary for utility work to be performed.

According to LADOTD, the right lane of LA 384 Southbound will be closed between Mark Road and approximately 0.43 miles north of Haymark Road. The closure will occur on weekdays, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, during which time drivers can expect delays and should plan their route accordingly.

The utility work is expected to cause some inconvenience to drivers, but it is necessary to maintain and upgrade the infrastructure.

To minimize disruptions, drivers are encouraged to plan their route in advance.
