Crowley, Louisiana - On June 3, 2024, at around 5:00 p.m., detectives from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were called by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office to look into a shooting involving a deputy that happened at the intersection of South Avenue H and Magnolia Street in Crowley, Louisiana. Investigators are collecting evidence and gathering more details.

One person was injured by a gunshot wound but their injuries are not life-threatening. Two deputies were also injured but their injuries are not life-threatening. This incident is currently being investigated and more details will be shared as they become known.
