Lake Charles Road Maintenance Alert: I-10 Lane Closures Scheduled for April 3 and 4, 2024

In a necessary move to ensure the safety and smooth functioning of the roadways, there will be lane closures on Interstate 10 both eastbound and westbound between Exit 27 and US 171. The closure plan includes an I-10 Westbound closure slated for Wednesday, April 3, 2024, followed by an I-10 Eastbound closure on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

These closures are scheduled to be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this period, motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly to accommodate the temporary changes in traffic flow.

The purpose of these closures is to facilitate essential roadway maintenance activities.
