Lake Charles Easter Celebration: Free Egg Hunt and Family Fun at Hillcrest Park

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and the Children's Miracle Network are hosting the 2024 Citywide Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th from 10 am to noon at Hillcrest Park located at 2808 Hillcrest Drive.

The egg hunt will include separate hunts for children in the age groups 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Additionally, there will be a sensory-friendly and accessible egg hunt available.

CHRISTUS Ochsner Health SWLA employees, members of Phi Mu Sorority at McNeese State University, and volunteers from Families for Inclusion will be present to assist with the different egg hunts.

Cumulus Broadcasting is offering prize-filled eggs for the event, while Coca-Cola is supplying refreshments for participants to enjoy.

For Easter, Chuck the Train will have a unique conductor, and attendees will have the chance to partake in food, entertainment, games, and other activities.
