Plan Ahead: I-10 Westbound Near Enterprise Blvd in Lake Charles Closing for Utility Work

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced a ramp closure on I-10 Westbound in Lake Charles for utility work. The closure is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

The affected route is I-10 Westbound, specifically the on and off ramp located near Enterprise Blvd. Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and seek alternative routes during this time.

The closure is necessary to facilitate utility work in the area. DOTD has identified the start cross street as approximately 0.27 miles east of Enterprise Blvd., and the end cross street as approximately 0.21 miles west of Enterprise Blvd.

The duration of the closure is expected to be approximately two and a half hours, starting at noon and ending at 2:30 PM. Motorists should exercise caution and follow all posted detour signs and instructions from traffic control personnel.
