Lake Charles, Louisiana - During the late hours of October 28th, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a distressing report of a shooting incident at a residence on Bruce Drive in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Promptly responding to the call, deputies were informed that multiple individuals had sustained gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations revealed that a violent altercation had erupted during a gathering at the house, leading to the use of a firearm resulting in six individuals being shot.
After conducting a thorough inquiry, detectives successfully identified the alleged perpetrator as a 17-year-old resident of Lake Charles. Subsequently, a warrant, authorized by Judge Cynthia Guillory, was issued, charging the suspect with five counts of aggravated 2nd-degree battery, attempted 2nd-degree murder, illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, and illegal use of a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence.
Detectives managed to locate the suspect and successfully apprehended him. Meanwhile, the victims, aged 15, 16 (two individuals), 17 (two individuals), and 19, were promptly transported to a medical facility for urgent treatment. Unfortunately, one of the victims remains in critical condition, necessitating immediate medical attention.
