New DeQuincy Public Library Branch to Open March 8 in Calcasieu Parish
DeQuincy, Louisiana – The new DeQuincy public library branch will open on March 8 in Calcasieu Parish.
On March 7, 2023, the Calcasieu Parish Public Library announced that the newly renovated DeQuincy Library branch, located at 102 N. Pine Street, will have a soft opening on March 8, 2023, at 9 AM.
Calcasieu Parish Libraries indicated that a grand opening celebration will be scheduled for a later date, but invited citizens to stop by and check out their new branch.
The DeQuincy Library, which was previously located at 102 W. Harrison Street, was closed on February 13, 2023, to move to the newly renovated site on N. Pine Street.
