Authorities in Louisiana Asking for Help Locating Suspect Involved in Theft of Wallet of Priest and Unauthorized Use of a Payment Card
Lake Charles, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for help locating a person suspected of stealing the wallet of a priest and unauthorized use of a payment card.
On February 24, 2023, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers reported that on Sunday, November 20, 2022, the suspect seen in the featured image and the video below entered the sacristy during a procession at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana and stole a priest’s wallet.
The victim’s card was then used at two local businesses, where clothing and fuel were purchased by the suspect.
Authorities are asking anyone who has any information to call Crime Stoppers at 337-439-2222.
A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
