29-Year-Old Louisiana Man Arrested After Allegedly Setting Fire to Mobile Home While His Mother was Inside
Caddo Parish, Louisiana – A 29-year-old Louisiana man has been arrested after allegedly setting fire to a mobile home while his mother was inside.
The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office (LASFM) announced on February 14, 2023, that they have arrested a Vivian, Louisiana man for allegedly setting fire to the mobile home he lived in while his mother was inside.
On February 11, during the early evening, Caddo Fire District #8 was dispatched to the 10000 block of Vivian Airport Road in response to a complaint of a mobile home fire. Arriving firefighters discovered two individuals safely outside.
After evaluating the situation and gathering witness testimony, deputies decided that the fire was intentionally started. Chriss, who resided in the mobile home with his mother, acknowledged to starting the fire during an interview with deputies. He was later arrested in connection with the incident.
On Saturday, February 11, 29-year-old Quinton Chriss of Vivian, Louisiana was booked into the Caddo Parish Jail on one count of Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
