Arrest Made in Louisiana Solicitation for Murder Case After Man Allegedly Offered Money In Exchange for the Killing of His Wife
The Shreveport Police Department reported on October 27, 2022, that 41-year-old Jarred Johnson had been arrested for one count of Solicitation for Murder.
On October 12th, 2022, the Shreveport Police Department was approached by a civilian who informed them that Jarred Johnson allegedly offered money in exchange for the murder of his estranged wife. The investigation was taken over by Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives, who secured a warrant for Johnson’s arrest based on the facts and circumstances revealed.
Jarred Johnson was apprehended on his outstanding warrant at his Texas home on October 21st, 2022, with the assistance of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
He is currently in the custody of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, awaiting extradition to Caddo Parish, where he will face the charge of Solicitation for Murder.
