Louisiana Man Cited for Allegedly Harassing an Alligator Hunter on Two Separate Dates

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reported on September 14, 2022, that enforcement agents cited a Pearl River, Louisiana man for an alleged offense on September 8 in St. Tammany Parish.

Hunter Sessions, 29, was cited by agents for allegedly harassing hunters in the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

Sessions was reported to agents for harassing an alligator hunter on the Pearl River WMA. Agents assessed the complaint and discovered that Sessions harassed an alligator hunter on the WMA on September 3 and 4. Agents also discovered proof of the incidents on social media.

On September 8, agents contacted Sessions and issued him the citation for harassment of hunters.

Harassment of hunters can result in a $350 fine.

A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
