Louisiana Man Arrested After Allegedly Encouraging a Child to Consider Sex Work
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on August 18, 2022, that detectives arrested a Vivian, Louisiana man who allegedly asked a young teen to have sex with him in exchange for money.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division, Anthony Thomas, 41, of Vivian, Louisiana, supplied two juveniles with alcohol on July 29. That night, Thomas gave one of the teens a handwritten note with a list of sexual activities and their prices. As part of the inquiry, both teenagers were interviewed about the incident, and Thomas’ property was searched.
Thomas was interviewed and later arrested on Wednesday, August 18. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of enticing persons into prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. No bond had been set at the time this was published.
The investigation is ongoing, and Thomas may face additional charges.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
