Louisiana Man Arrested After Agents Reportedly Found Approximately $65k Worth of Drugs in His Home
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on August 11, 2022, that narcotics agents apprehended a Shreveport, Louisiana man on the afternoon of August 9, after seizing roughly $65,120 in drugs from his house.
Caddo narcotics agents conducted a search warrant on the 100 block of Ute Trail in Shreveport, Louisiana, on August 9. Cedric Ragster, 53, was reportedly discovered with a Glock 45 caliber handgun, 4,988 grams of marijuana (approximately 11 pounds), 774 grams of meth tablets, 61 grams of methamphetamine, 14 grams of powder cocaine, $1,525 in cash, digital scales, and packaging material.
Ragster was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center. He was charged with two counts of possession of CDS Schedule II with intent to distribute, possession of CDS Schedule I with Intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm with controlled and dangerous substance.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
