Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins to Host Veterans Outreach Clinic in Abbeville
Abbeville, Louisiana – On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana will hold a Veterans Outreach Clinic in Abbeville, Louisiana. Veterans will be encouraged to ask questions and seek assistance with a variety of VA benefits and challenges.
Representatives will be on hand to assist Veterans with:
- Signing up for medical benefits.
- Filing or checking the status of a disability claim.
- Applying for residence in a State-run Veteran home.
- Registering for job search services.
- Learning about other available benefits.
In 2019, the Veterans Outreach Clinic initiative was launched to deliver Veterans’ services to communities throughout South Louisiana.

Attending the Veterans Outreach Clinic will be Congressman Clay Higgins, Louisiana Attorney General’s Office staff, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) representatives, and Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA).
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 10 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, at the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame & Museum at 911 Revis Sirmon Loop, Abbeville, LA 70510.
