Nightly I-10 Lane Closures in Sulphur and Westlake Announced for January – February 2019

LADOTD has announced nightly lane closures of the inside lanes both Eastbound and Westbound between Ruth Street in Sulphur to the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge. The lane closures are to install cable barriers in the median.

UPDATED January 2, 2019: I-10 Eastbound and Westbound left lanes from milepost 20 (Ruth Street) to milepost 28.7 (I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge) will be closed nightly beginning Saturday, January 5, 2019, through Sunday, February 10, 2019, as follows:

Lane Closure Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00pm to 5:00am
  • Friday: 10:00pm to 5:00am
  • Saturday: 9:00pm to 5:00am
  • Sunday: 7:00pm to 5:00am

This construction was originally scheduled to take place Sunday, October 21, 2018, through Saturday, January 5, 2019
