Packing House Road Closed Near US 90 in Lake Charles May 16 Until November 18
Lake Charles, LA – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced that Packing House Road, north of the U.S. 90 (Fruge Street) intersection, will be closed to all traffic from 7am on Monday, May 16, 2022, until 6 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022.
Residential traffic will still have access to properties south and north of the bridge. Detour signs will be posted.
Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use caution when driving in the area.
The closure is for bridge replacement.
