Authorities in Louisiana Request Help in Locating Arson Suspect Involved in Wildfires

Louisiana – The Louisiana Office of Forestry has identified one suspect in an arson investigation involving multiple wildfires on Olon Bankston Road in Kentwood, LA.

Agents obtained four arrest warrants for 32-year-old John Grady Davidson for arson on May 2, 2022.

On May 3, forestry agents and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies observed Davidson’s vehicle on Highway 1054 near Highway 16 in Amite, Louisiana. The driver, Michael Warren of Loranger, LA, was apprehended after attempting to elude police. Warren was arrested after deputies discovered him in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Agents discovered Davidson was previously in the vehicle but fled on foot before the vehicle came to a stop along the dark roadway. Anyone with information on John Grady Davidson’s whereabouts is asked to call the Louisiana Office of Forestry at 225-925-4500 to speak with enforcement agents.

All persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
