A suspected ‘porch pirate’ has been arrested for recent package thefts in Lake Charles.
Lake Charles, Louisiana – According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, on February 16, 2022, CPSO deputies were dispatched to a home on 11th Street in Lake Charles in response to a theft.
During the initial investigation, it was discovered that on two separate occasions, February 12 and February 15, an unknown man stole packages from the victim’s doorstep. The suspect allegedly stole over $1,000 in designer clothing and household items.

During a subsequent search of the house, detectives discovered the stolen packages, as well as suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Jennings was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with theft of $1,000 to $5,000; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $16,000.
