Plane Crash Involving a Pick-Up Truck Closes Part of I-12 in Louisiana

On October 28, 2021, Louisiana State Police reported that a small plane made an emergency landing on I-12 westbound near Pumpkin Center, LA. While landing, the plane impacted the driver’s side of a Ford pick-up truck. After striking the Ford, the plane proceeded into the median of I-12.
There were no injuries as a result of this crash.
The left lane of I-12 westbound is currently closed as crews work to clear the scene.
