62-Year-Old Louisiana Man Alleged to Have Attepted to Run Over Neighbor and Damage Property Arrested

Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana – A 62-year-old Louisiana man who allegedly attempted to run over his neighbor and damage property has been arrested.

The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on April 24, 2023, that on April 22, Deputies were summoned to an address in the 1000 Block of Grand Marais Road, in Jennings, Louisiana, in connection to an ongoing disturbance.

According to the complainant, a neighbor attempted to run her over with his truck. Deputies discovered via statements and physical evidence that a vehicle had driven into the complainant’s yard, damaging a flower bed and a tree near where the complainant was standing.

Garland Orillian Deshazow, 62, of Jennings, Louisiana was arrested and booked into the parish jail for 2 counts of aggravated assault, criminal trespassing, and simple criminal damage to property.
