Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – A 60-year-old Louisiana woman reportedly shot and killed her husband in their Bell City, Louisiana home; she reportedly admitted to the shooting during an interview with detectives and was arrested on 2nd-degree murder charges.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) reported on January 23, 2023, that on January 22, around 5:40 p.m., deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home on Gragg Road in Bell City, Louisiana, in reference to a possible homicide. Yvette G. Logan, 60, told dispatchers she shot her husband, William G. Logan, 67, and he was dead inside the house.

When deputies arrived at the house, they made contact with Yvette and were able to call her out of the house and take her into custody without incident.
