59-Year-Old Louisiana Man Charged with the Alleged Rape of Two Juveniles
Louisiana – On September 29, 2022, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of James Griffin Jr., 59, of Raceland, Louisiana. Griffin was arrested on Wednesday and charged with the rape of two juveniles.
Detectives discovered Griffin allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with two minor children during their inquiry. Griffin confirmed his involvement when cops brought him up for interrogation.
Griffin was arrested and taken to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex charged with two counts of first-degree rape. Bail is set at $1 million.
Authorities indicated that due to the nature of the allegations, no further details will be made available in this case.
