50-Year-Old Louisiana Man Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Man to Death After Argument in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A 50-year-old Louisiana man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death after an argument in Baton Rouge.
Baton Rouge Police reported that Homicide Detectives have arrested Silvester Lethermon, 50 for his alleged involvement in the stabbing death of Arthur Mitchell, 51 that occurred at around 3:10 am on March 6, 2023, in the 2500 block of Plank Road.
According to authorities, Lethermon allegedly stabbed Mitchell after having a verbal argument.
Mitchell was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Lethermon was charged with Manslaughter and was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Baton Rouge Police indicated that this is an ongoing investigation.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
