Church Point, Louisiana - Deputies from the State Fire Marshal's office are currently looking into a fire that occurred on November 12, in a mobile home in Church Point, Louisiana. Sadly, a 5-year-old girl lost her life in the incident, and three other individuals were hospitalized.
The Church Point Fire Department received a call about the fire in the 100 block of Saint Zeno Drive during late morning hours. Although three people managed to get out of the home, one child was unable to do so.
The survivors were taken to the hospital for treatment due to smoke inhalation.
This investigation is still in its early stages and is ongoing.
