45-Year-Old Louisiana Man Arrested in Connection with Sex Crimes Involving a Juvenile
Louisiana – On September 29, 2022, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of 45-year-old Barry Brown of Thibodaux, Louisiana. Brown was arrested on Wednesday and charged with sex crimes involving a juvenile victim.
Detectives discovered Brown had inappropriate sexual contact with a teen victim during their investigation. Following the inquiry, officers secured warrants for the charges of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and oral sexual battery.
Brown was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on the stated charges on the warrants on September 28, 2022. The bail is set at $300,000.
Authorities indicated that no further information will be released due to the nature of the allegations.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
