43-Year-Old Louisiana Man Arrested for Alleged Distribution of Child Pornography and Bestiality Material
A 43-year-old Louisiana man has been arrested for the alleged distribution of child pornography and bestiality material.
Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator announced that detectives had arrested a Shreveport, Louisiana man for allegedly disseminating child and animal pornography.
After receiving a complaint that Christopher Canizares, 43, of Shreveport, Louisiana, transmitted child pornography, Cyber Crimes Detective Thomas Lites initiated an investigation in November 2022.
The investigation led Caddo officers to Canizares’ residence in the 2600 block of Sevier Street on February 9. Canizares had and transmitted numerous photographs and films of child pornography and pornographic material depicting sexual activity between humans and horses, according to further inquiry.
Canizares was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of four counts of pornography involving minors and twelve counts of sexual abuse of an animal.
As new information becomes available, additional charges may be brought as a result.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
