3 Charitable Organizations Come Together to Feed Those in Need in Sulphur

The Salvation Army of Lake Charles, the United Way of Southwest Louisiana, and SC3 – Sulphur Christian Community Coalition have come together to help feed those in need after Calcasieu Parish Schools shut down their feeding program for children.

The following announcement was made on the SC3 Facebook page on the evening of March 25, 2020:

“Know anyone impacted by recent community feeding program closures? The Salvation Army of Lake Charles in partnership with the United Way is serving to-go lunch from 12-1:30 p.m. EVERY day starting tomorrow at 501 E Burton.”

Anyone looking for food or other COVID-19 related information in Sulphur or other locations can also call 211 or text 898-211 and United Way will help you find it.
