24-Year-Old Louisiana Man Found Guilty of Rape of 11-Year-Old Victim
Lake Charles, Louisiana – A 24-year-old Louisiana man has been found guilty of the rape of an 11-year-old victim.
Braylen M. LeDay, 24, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was found guilty of First Degree Rape on March 3, according to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office.
LeDay sexually abused a victim who was 11 at the time of the incidents in 2022. LeDay faces a mandatory life sentence at hard labor without the possibility of probation, parole, or sentence suspension.
The sentencing date has been set for April 28, 2023, before Judge Robert Wyatt.
Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office Assistant District Attorneys Charles Robinson and Conrad Huber prosecuted the case.
