2023 Calcasieu Parish Property Tax Notices Mailed: Online & In-Person Payment Options Detailed

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - Sheriff Tony Mancuso has announced that property tax notices for 2023 are currently being sent out by mail. Those who owe property taxes can opt to make their payments online through the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office website, www.cpso.com, using a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card. Additionally, taxpayers have the option to access and print their bill through the website.

In Person Payment Locations for Property Taxes in Calcasieu Parish

Individuals who prefer not to make their tax payments through online methods have the option of paying them in person at:

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Tax Office located in the Magnolia Life Building at 1011 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 100, in Lake Charles. The office is open from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and remains open during lunch hours.

You have the option to make payments using various methods such as cash, check, money order, cashier's check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

CPSO Law Enforcement Center in Sulphur (West Cal), located at 1525 Cypress Street in Sulphur.

The office is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and remains open during lunchtime.

You have the option to make payments using various methods such as checks, money order, cashier's check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. However, it is important to note that cash is not accepted at this office.

Additionally, in order to make it easier for taxpayers, the Calcasieu Parish Tax Collector's Office will be sending a representative to various locations in the parish on specific dates to collect the 2023 property taxes.

The DeQuincy Law Enforcement Center on Tuesday, December 5, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., located at 618 E. Center St., in DeQuincy.

The Moss Bluff Law Enforcement Center on Thursday, December 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., located at 115 Bronco Lane in Moss Bluff.

You can make payments at these places by using various methods such as cash, checks, money orders, cashier's checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Payment for the 2023 tax notices must be made by December 31, 2023, to avoid any interest or penalties. Any payments received after this date will accrue 1% interest per month and may incur additional costs as per the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
