20-Year-Old Louisiana Man Arrested in Connection with Multiple Vehicle Burglaries in LaPlace

LaPlace, Louisiana – A 20-year-old man from Louisiana has been arrested in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries that took place in LaPlace.

The St John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) reported on May 15, 2023, that Jaden Moseman, 20, of LaPlace, Louisiana, was arrested on Friday, May 12, 2023, in connection with several vehicle burglaries in a LaPlace neighborhood.

According to investigators, the SJSO received many complaints about automobiles being burglarized in the LaPlace Park area between May 10 and 12, 2023.

Throughout the course of the inquiry, investigators reportedly identified Moseman as a person of interest in connection with the burglaries. Based on the investigation, Moseman’s residence was searched, and some of the suspected stolen items were discovered. Authorities indicated that Moseman resisted arrest.

Moseman was charged with four counts of vehicle burglary and one count of resisting arrest. He is being held in lieu of a $45,000.00 bond.

This investigation is still ongoing. Authorities are asking that anyone with information about vehicle burglaries in the LaPlace Park area call Detective Captain. Brandon Barlow at 504-494-2674.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
