2 Arrested in Louisiana on Drug and Firearms Charges After Multi-Week Investigation
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, over the last few weeks of June 2022, EBRSO Narcotics conducted an investigation that included numerous controlled purchases of methamphetamine from 36-year-old Nicholas Willard aka “Cali.” Agents observed Willard’s girlfriend, 34-year-old Sasha Lanclos, conduct several hand-to-hand drug transactions with subjects while she was with Willard. Agents obtained a search warrant for Willard and Lanclos’ apartment as a result of this investigation, as well as an arrest warrant for Willard for Distribution of Methamphetamine.
Willard and Lanclos were apprehended by East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Narcotics on June 29, 2022, with the assistance of EBRSO K-9. Agents then carried out the search warrant at an address on Burbank Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
EBRSO also indicated that Willard is a felon out out of Georgia and California.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the following was seized as a result of the warrant:
Seized:
- 14 ounces of Methamphetamine (approx. street value $3,500)
- 1.5 ounces of Fentanyl (approx. street value $3,000)
- 1.5 pounds of Marijuana (approx. street value $3,000)
- 9 dosage units of Hydrocodone
- 13 dosage units of Xanax
- $1,362 (Pending seizure)
- Short barrel rifle (AR-15 style 9mm)
- Springfield semi-automatic handgun
Nicholas Brandon Willard, 36 years of age:
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Methamphetamine)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule I (Marijuana)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Fentanyl)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Hydrocodone)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule IV (Xanax)
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (2 counts)
- Possession of a Firearm with Drugs
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Sasha Lanclos, 34 years of age:
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Methamphetamine)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule I (Marijuana)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Fentanyl)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule II (Hydrocodone)
- Possession with intent to distribute CDS Schedule IV (Xanax)
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm with Drugs
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Assisting divisions included East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office K-9, and DEA Baton Rouge.
