18-Wheeler Crash on I-10 East Near Exit 4, Lane Closure Expected to Last Several Hours

Louisiana – On September 6, 2022, at approximately 9:45 am, Louisiana State Police reported that Troopers with LSP Troop D were on the scene of a single-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler on I-10 eastbound just east of the Starks exit (exit 4).

The outside lane of travel and shoulder are closed for vehicle recovery and is expected to remain closed for several hours. Emergency personnel are working to get the wreckage and debris removed.

At the time this was published, traffic congestion had reached the Louisiana-Texas state line.
