After being notified by school administration, Sheriff’s School Resource Officer Rufus Porter reportedly found a firearm in a backpack on a 16-year-old student at C.E. Byrd High School on Wednesday morning. The weapon discovered was a loaded Glock 43 with ten 9mm bullets.
