12-Year-Old in Louisiana Arrested Suspected of Shooting His Father After Having a Disagreement
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A 12-year-old in Louisiana has been arrested suspected of shooting his father after having a disagreement.
Baton Rouge Police Department reported on March 7, 2023, that detectives arrested a 12-year-old male suspect suspected of shooting his father on March 6, 2023, around 3:11 pm at an address in the 8000 Block of Jefferson Hwy.
The juvenile allegedly shot his father after having a disagreement, according to authorities. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 12-year-old was booked into East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
